Yippee! It’s February!! A new month! And just a little closer to spring! I wanted to share something easy that you may want to do in February. We know it’s Heart Month…Valentine’s Day is approaching.
First up. This.
Give praises to your kids and spouse by writing them on paper hearts!
Listen. It’s February 1st. You’ve got time to do this yet today.
When you get home from work, cut out a heart. No construction paper? That’s ok…use newspaper, white paper, ANYTHING. And write a praise or compliment on the heart. Then, tape it to your child’s bedroom door. Then, do this for your spouse.

Who doesn’t love to receive heartfelt words written on little happy hearts? Do this for 14 days and wahlaaaa! You’ve got a decorated door that has so many words of affirmation on it. *Psssst…don’t just write these notes and tape them up. Speak them to your children and spouse, too. Kind spoken words bring life and do wonders for the soul. Proverbs 18:21 says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” and Ephesians 4:15 says “Speaking the truth in love”.
Write sweet words to show you care = easy
